About FinalLap

We built the auction we wanted to watch.

Nothing beats the energy of a live car auction. One car after another, the whole room watching, bids flying, and the moment each one sells. We built that for the internet.

Why we built it

Online car auctions haven't changed since eBay.

List it, wait a week, hope someone's paying attention. It works. It's just not much fun to watch.

The old wayA listing.

Bids trickle in.Hundreds of cars, ending at random times all week.Unless you search, you'd never know it was there.

FinalLapLiveA show.

Every Thursday at 1 PM ET.Every car gets the whole room, one at a time.Headliners and hidden gems alike.

How we do it

  1. 01

    It should be a show.

Showtime is Thursday at 1 PM ET, and each car rolls straight into the next. Don't worry, the lineup goes up a week early, so you can browse first.

  2. 02

    Everyone watches together.

One car at a time, with the whole room watching. The clock races at the end, late bids add time, and Best & Final settles close calls.

  3. 03

    Watching should be fun.

Sound effects and big on-screen call-outs for every moment, from Bidding Extended to Sold. You don't have to bid to enjoy it.
